Up to £35,000 per annum + Discretionary Bonus- Solihull
We are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Artisan Baker to join a well-loved independent café bakery at the heart of a thriving local community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled baker who genuinely cares about quality, enjoys working within a close-knit team, and takes pride in producing exceptional artisan breads from scratch.
This business may be small in size, but it has built an outstanding reputation for quality and consistency. With a loyal customer base and a busy trade all year round, the team is looking for someone who can confidently balance both craftsmanship and productivity in a fast-paced but supportive environment. Importantly, this is not a factory-style operation- the focus is firmly on traditional methods, great ingredients, and producing products you can truly be proud of.
The owners are hands-on, visible within the business, and incredibly supportive, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where staff are genuinely valued. The Role
Night shifts: 10pm 6am
3540 hours per week
Based in Solihull
Free on street parking
5 shifts per week
No Saturday working!
One additional day off during the week
Salary up to £35,000 per annum
Discretionary bonus scheme
Overtime either paid or taken as time off in lieu
What Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an artisan bakery environment and be confident working with a range of handcrafted breads and doughs. xwzovoh
Experience in the following would be highly desirable:
Hand moulding
Sourdough production
Ciabatta
Focaccia
Dough fermentation and development
Working with high-quality artisan products from scratch
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and passionate about baking- someone who can maintain excellent standards whilst working efficiently during busy production periods.
