Due to continued growth in their industrial arm, they are now seeking an experienced HSE Lead to join their team in London on a Data Centre project.ResponsibilitiesLead Site Health, Safety & Environmental Strategy:Develop, implement, and continuously improve project-specific HSE plans, ensuring alignment with UK legislation, industry standards, and client requirements.Conduct Risk Assessments & Safety Audits:Carry out thorough HSE inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across all project phases, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.Promote a Strong Safety Culture:Drive behavioural safety initiatives, lead toolbox talks, and engage with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to reinforce a proactive safety-first mindset.Incident Management & Reporting:Oversee accident and near-miss investigations, produce high-quality reports, identify root causes, and ensure preventative measures are effectively introduced.Support Compliance for High-Risk Activities:Provide expert guidance on critical construction operations—such as lifting, electrical works, confined spaces, and commissioning—ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and data centre-specific safety protocols.RequirementsMust have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)Must have relevant health and safety qualifications (i.e. NEBOSH)Must be based within commutable distance of Canary WharfBenefits90,000 - 95,000 + Benefits
