Job title: Satellite RF EngineerLocation: London, UKSalary:50,000 – 80,000 (depending on experience)Sector:Space / Satellite CommunicationsAbout the RoleWe’re working with an innovative space company to hire a Satellite RF Engineer to join their team in London. In this permanent role, you’ll be responsible for the design, development, and testing of RF systems used in satellite communications—playing a key part in delivering the next generation of orbital missions.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF technology for space, from concept to flight, within a fast-moving and highly skilled engineering team.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop RF systems and components for satellite platformsSupport link budgets, frequency planning, and system-level RF performance analysisIntegrate and test RF subsystems including antennas, filters, amplifiers, and transceiversWork closely with digital and systems engineers to ensure seamless integrationConduct lab-based and on-orbit RF performance testing and troubleshootingPrepare technical documentation and support project reviewsStay up to date with industry trends and regulatory standards in satellite communicationsRequired Skills & ExperienceDegree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or related disciplineStrong experience with RF design for satellite or aerospace applicationsFamiliarity with RF simulation tools (e.g. CST, HFSS, ADS) and lab test equipment (e.g. VNAs, spectrum analysers)Knowledge of satellite link budgets, modulation schemes, and spectrum allocationAbility to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbout Alexander AssociatesFor more than 30 years, Alexander Associates has been committed to recruiting top talent within the engineering sector.
