About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in high-voltage (HV) installation, maintenance or testing to transition into a career as an HV Design Engineer / Control and Protection Design Engineer. Joining a well-respected organisation that delivers projects for a range of Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), you'll receive comprehensive training to build on your existing HV knowledge and develop specialist design expertise. Working on projects from 11kV to 132kV, you'll gain valuable experience in HV control and protection design while contributing to critical power infrastructure. To be considered, you'll need previous experience working on HV or power distribution projects in an installation, testing or maintenance role, along with a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Some experience using design software such as AutoCAD is also essential. Applications are also welcome from Electrical Design Engineers from Independent Connection Providers (ICPs).
