Warehouse Supervisor

You will support the Warehouse Manager in leading day-to-day warehouse operations, supervising a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods from receipt through to dispatch. The role is responsible for maintaining high operational standards while taking a hands-on approach and working alongside the team when required. Key Requirements Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively Hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team during operational peaks or when required Solid understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch Strong knowledge of health & safety practices within a warehouse environment Excellent communication and organisational skills Confident using IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing operational demands Experience in a technical or engineering-related product environment (e.g. heating, cooling, renewable energy, or electrical equipment) Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred) Forklift licence or experience operating material handling equipment (MHE) Salary & Benefits Rotating shift pattern (6:00am - 10:00pm coverage) Competitive salary of £35,000 per annum Private medical cover Life assurance (4x salary)
