We are currently recruiting a Media Lecturer to support New College Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced media professionals or qualified lecturers looking to inspire the next generation of creative talent.

The Role

As a Media Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons and support learners in developing the practical skills, creative techniques, and industry knowledge required for careers within the media sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering Media lessons across a range of levels
• Supporting learners with practical media production projects and assessments
• Preparing students for higher education, apprenticeships, and careers within the creative industries
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity, and professional standards

What We're Looking For

• Relevant industry experience within Media, Film, Television, Digital Content, or a related field
• Level 3 qualification in Media or a related subject (degree desirable)
