The Role
Location: Pre-Print & Coatings, Corby, Northamptonshire
Hours: 3 shift rotation
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operative to join our factory team. As a Machine Operator, you will play an important part in our production process, ensuring machines are set correctly, products meet quality standards, and customer orders are completed safely and efficiently.
You will work closely with colleagues and team leaders to keep production running smoothly while continuously looking for ways to improve performance, quality, and safety.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate machinery in line with production requirements
- Monitor performance, resolve minor issues, and help maximise efficiency
- Complete quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Work towards daily production targets while minimising waste
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Report faults, maintenance needs, or quality concerns promptly
- Follow all health & safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support the wider team
What Were Looking For:
- Experience as a Machine Operator (in print or packaging) desirable but not essential
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude with good communication skills
- A focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Pride in doing a job well and helping the team succeed
