Site Manager – Student Accommodation Fit-Out Location: E16, London Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Package (DOE) Start Date: ASAP An established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join a major 1,000-bed student accommodation development in E16, London. The project is currently at the demolition stage and will progress into a large-scale internal fit-out programme. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a flagship project from the early stages through to completion. Key Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard. * Manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades throughout the fit-out phase. * Maintain site health & safety, quality and compliance. * Monitor progress against the construction programme and resolve any site issues. * Liaise with the Project Manager, clients and the wider project team. * Ensure all site documentation and reporting is completed accurately. Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale fit-out or residential projects. * Experience managing multi-storey developments or student accommodation schemes is advantageous. * Strong leadership and organisational skills. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates are essential. * Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and site logistics effectively.
