- Fitter – Permanent Position Location: Shrewsbury Salary Basic: £52,000 per annum About the Role: Venatu Automotive is partnering with our client in the Shrewsbury area to recruit a permanent PSV Mechanic/Fitter.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Fitter to join our client.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities: • Routine maintenance and repair of PSV/HGV vehicles • Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs • Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road • Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance Shift Pattern: Guaranteed 38 hours per week Working Monday to Friday 1 in 2 Saturday What We're Looking For: Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV/LGV, truck Ideally qualified for one of the following: PCV or HGV City & Guilds BTEC NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV Time Served Apply now or contact Sally Maxwell at Venatu Automotive to discuss this role further.
