About The Company One of the UK's leading fit out and refurbishment contractors who specialise in the delivery of project across the leisure, education and commercial sectors. About The Role We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead a 27-week hotel extension and refurbishment project. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager, with a strong background in managing complex construction projects from enabling works through to final fit-out. The successful candidate will oversee a live hotel extension / refurbishment project involving: * Enabling works * Groundworks and infrastructure * New build extension * Structural alterations * Internal fit-out * Refurbishment of existing hotel bedrooms and associated areas Experience working within live environments and coordinating works to minimise disruption is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities * Day-to-day management of site operations * Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard * Maintaining health & safety compliance across the project * Liaising with the client, design team, and project stakeholders * Managing site logistics and sequencing of works * Quality control and snag management * Site reporting, record keeping, and progress updates * Ensuring programme milestones are achieved What You Need to Succeed * Some experience in managing groundworks contractors * New build / structural alterations experience * Hotel refurbishment experience * SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid What You'll Get in Return * 27-week project with an immediate start * Competitive rates/salary * Flexible engagement – Freelance or PAYE considered * Opportunity to deliver a varied and interesting project from start to completion
