Site Managers

Location: Fair Oak, Hampshire Contract: 3 Months Start: ASAP Type: Freelance / Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Main Contractor on a residential development in Fair Oak, Hampshire. This is an initial 3-month contract, working as part of an established site team and reporting directly into the Project Manager. You will take responsibility for a parcel consisting of two apartment blocks, managing the day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day management of two residential apartment blocks Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team Monitoring progress against programme and driving works forward Maintaining high standards of health & safety Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards Carrying out site inspections and resolving issues as they arise Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors Reporting on progress to the Project Manager The Candidate We are looking for a Site Manager with: Previous Site Management experience on residential developments Strong experience delivering apartment schemes Main Contractor or residential developer experience Good knowledge of construction processes and sequencing Strong subcontractor management skills A proactive approach to programme, quality and health & safety Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an established project team Relevant Site Management qualifications/tickets This is a great opportunity to join a leading Main Contractor on a busy residential scheme, with an initial contract of 3 months.
