Maintenance Technician Location: Doncaster (DN4) Salary: Up to £38,500 (DOE) Hours: Monday to Thursday | 10 Hour Shifts | Temp to Perm We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a well-established manufacturing company based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer with a range of skills across plumbing, electrical, and preventative maintenance, looking for a stable, long-term role. What’s in it for you? * Salary up to £38,500 depending on experience * 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday) * Long weekends every week * Temp to perm opportunity * Stable, ongoing work within a manufacturing environment The Role: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and facilities * Responding to breakdowns and performing reactive maintenance * Maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and site facilities * Supporting improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards What we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a maintenance technician/engineer role * Strong mechanical maintenance background * Experience with plumbing, basic electrical work, and general facilities maintenance * Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems (PPM) * Ability to fault-find and problem solve effectively * Reliable with a strong work ethic * Flexibility to support the business during busy periods This role would suit candidates from manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industry backgrounds who are looking for a varied and hands-on maintenance position.
