I am currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer. This is a great opportunity for a strong commercial focused Junior Buyer to join the expanding team in their Solihull head office function.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
• Sourcing suppliers & negotiating best cost prices
• Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines
• Presenting reports, figures & trend information to the Buying team
• Dealing and resolving escalated supplier queries
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to keep ahead of trends

Key requirements for the role;

• Proven experience as Junior / Assistant Buyer
• Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
• Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing market. xwzovoh
• Good level of education
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
• Good working knowledge of budgets and managing conflicting projects
• Excellent understanding of all MS Office products including advanced Excel
