Finance Officer

Robert Half are recruiting a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their established Finance Team based in Faringdon.Office based - 5 days per week.The RoleWorking closely with leaders and the wider finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support across multiple sites and ensuring effective budget management and financial control.Key responsibilities include:Producing, monitoring, and reporting on budgetsMonthly budget monitoring and variance analysisPayroll monitoring and reconciliationProcessing BACS payments, posting transactions, and issuing remittancesAdvising stakeholders on procurement and value-for-money initiativesSupporting financial planning and forecasting activitiesProviding financial insight and guidance to support decision-makingAbout YouThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:Experience of monthly budget monitoring and financial reportingConfidence in payroll reconciliation and analysisExperience processing BACS payment runsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsA practical understanding of procurement and cost controlRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
