Production Operative with Experience in the Brick-Making Industry

Triangle Recruitment, working in Partnership with Ibstock PLC, are looking to recruit Production Operatives, due to an increase in Production Volumes. The role will also ensure all Machines, Equipment and the Factory Floor are kept in a clean state following the all Production has ceased. Working as part of a small team, full training is given.

Production Operative:
Shift Pattern: 5 on / 5 off, 5 on / 5 off, 4 on / 4 off Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the role and responsibilities.
Carry out hands-on cleaning of machinery and plant.
Organise and prioritise your own workload effectively.
Operate mobile plant as required.
Carry out greasing and oiling of production plant.
Adhere to all health & safety, quality and environmental systems.
Support process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Assist with production when required.
Maintain high standards of 5S housekeeping and environmental management.
Assist with the development of SSOPs and Risk Assessments.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Numerate and literate.
Strong team-working attitude.
Ability to work independently when required.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of health & safety awareness.
Ability to learn and operate manufacturing and mobile plant.
Willingness to undertake further training and development.
Previous experience in a labour-intensive role.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Experience working in a continuous improvement environment.
Certified Counterbalance FLT licence is advantageous. xwzovoh
Recognised additional/up-skill qualifications are desirable.
