Their clients include some of the largest global financial institutions and banks, leading hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, brokers, clearing members and corporates.You will be part a team building cutting-edge applications and services supporting cross-asset trading and risk management. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development or implementation and the desire to constantly improve both their skills and the solutions they work on.Day to day the Quant Consultant will:You will be responsible for running your own projects as well as working closely with presales.Client specific development, which includes data interfaces, workflows and custom featuresBusiness consultancy, gathering Client requirements and translating these into development docs, as part of implementation and upgrade projectsSupport for end users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex technical issuesTrain end users on the technical configuration and features of the systemMaintain strong working relationships with clientsQuant Consultants must have:·Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical STEM discipline·Strong Interest in Finance·Experience with programming/languages (C#, C++, Python)·Experience writing code outside of degree ideally at home·Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and under directionThis role suits someone from a software development background that is looking to take on serious responsibility.
