Based: Remote – With occasional travel to Preston or Frimley
Day Rate: £500.00 per day or £675.00 Umbrella Inside IR35

Overview
BAE Systems are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Solution Manager DevOps Engineer to join an established Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.

Responsibilities
Supporting and maintaining live SAP systems and users
Managing SAP Solution Manager including monitoring, ITSM, ChaRM, and landscape management
Configuring and operating SAP Cloud ALM for hybrid and cloud-centric monitoring
Designing and maintaining SAP BTP and hybrid connectivity solutions
Performing SAP installations, upgrades, patches, transports, and system copies
Driving service improvements, incident reduction, and operational automation
Working closely with Product Teams, Architects, Engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders
Supporting Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on SAP Basis administration experience alongside solid knowledge of:
SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
SAP NetWeaver
SAP Solution Manager
SAP Cloud ALM
SAP BTP
SAP Cloud Connector and SAProuter
Hybrid integration and connectivity
ITIL processes and ServiceNow
