Part Time Accountant

We are recruiting a hands-on Accountant to join a creative business in Leeds. The company operates internationally, with overseas subsidiaries and an additional retail business.

This is a part-time position offering 16 hours per week, ideally spread across 3–4 days, with responsibility for managing the day-to-day finance function and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales and purchase ledger processing.

Preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial information.

Cashflow management and budget forecasting.

Managing multi-currency transactions and foreign currency balances.

Client budget monitoring and financial modelling.

Preparation and submission of VAT returns.

Financial reporting across the UK and overseas businesses.

The successful candidate will have:

A hands-on approach, comfortable managing both transactional finance and management accounts.
