Damp Waterproofing Surveyor

We are recruiting for a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor that is actively raising standards within the damp and waterproofing industry. This is not a tick-box surveying role. This is for someone who understands building pathology, can diagnose issues properly, and wants to be part of a business that values quality over volume. The Opportunity This is a key hire within the business. You will have autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to genuinely influence how projects are diagnosed and delivered. You’ll be working in a company where: * Surveys are done properly, not rushed * Clients are educated, not sold to * Quality and reputation matter The Role As a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor, you will carry out detailed inspections across residential and commercial properties, identifying root causes and producing clear, professional reports. You will be trusted to: * Diagnose damp issues correctly (not just surface-level reporting) * Assess waterproofing requirements including Type A and Type C systems * Produce commercially sound recommendations * Build trust with clients through clear, confident communication Requirements * CSSW or CSTDB qualified (PCA) * Experience as a Damp Surveyor / Waterproofing Surveyor * Strong report writing and client-facing ability * Full UK driving licence Desirable: * Basement / structural waterproofing experience * Broader understanding of building defects and design Location & Travel Projects across London and Greater London. You will attend the Watford / Kings Langley office regularly for meetings, reporting, and team collaboration.
