About the role

Thrive Personnel are working on behalf of our client in the Bradford BD7 area to recruit an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to support and enhance distribution operations. This role will involve leading warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high operational standards across the site. Working Hours & Shift Pattern Rotational Shifts: Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00 Week 2: 12:00 – 22:00 Hours: 38 hours per week (paid as 40 hours) Flexibility: 11 flexi shifts per annum Key Responsibilities Lead and support the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection in line with schedules Receive, process, and accurately store warehouse stock Ensure work is allocated effectively to meet customer requirements and deadlines Monitor and maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation Oversee documentation including picklists and records for audit and query resolution Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and protected from damage Maintain accurate and timely stock movement processes (receipt, issue, and put-away) Carry out inventory controls and support audit readiness Analyse data to improve efficiency in storage and picking performance Additional Duties Support company initiatives focused on damage reduction Report and investigate stock discrepancies Work closely with transport management, supervisors, and colleagues Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and basic preventative maintenance Follow all company procedures, policies, and regulations Health, Safety & Compliance Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures Report accidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions immediately Ensure all training is completed and properly recorded Adhere to HR policies, including absence management procedures Skills & Requirements Proven experience in warehouse or logistics environments in a supervisory role Strong leadership and team management skills Health & Safety focused mindset Strong organisational and time management abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Flexible approach to working patterns Ability to lift heavy items Full, valid driving licence Communication Maintain clear and effective communication within the team Provide regular updates to management on performance and progress
