Salary up to £32k plus bonus/benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Internal Sales / Business Development Executive to join a well-established and growing international manufacturing business based in Wollaston.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with customers in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting sales growth, managing customer accounts, and identifying opportunities to strengthen existing and new client relationships.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact within a successful business that supplies specialist products to customers across multiple sectors.
The Role
Manage and develop existing customer accounts
Identify and generate new business opportunities
Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries
Support the external sales function and wider commercial team
Maintain accurate CRM and sales records
Liaise with internal departments including production, operations, and customer service
Monitor customer requirements and provide proactive solutions
Support commercial growth initiatives and account development strategiesWhat We’re Looking For
Previous experience within internal sales, business development, account management, or customer-focused commercial roles
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident handling customer enquiries and commercial discussions
Proactive and target-driven mindset
Organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
