What you'll be doing as a CNC Setter Operator * Working as a CNC Setter Operator setting and operating 5 axis CNC machines * Producing precision carbide tools to tight tolerances * Working with advanced grinding machinery including Walter and Rollomatic * Carrying out inspection using appropriate measuring equipment * Monitoring machine performance and resolving issues * Supporting operators with technical queries and setup guidance Essential skills needed from the CNC Setter Operator: * Proven experience as a CNC Setter Operator in a precision engineering environment * Experience setting and operating CNC machines independently * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Experience working to tight tolerances * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Desirable skills needed from the CNC Setter Operator: * Experience within a CNC tool grinding environment * Exposure to machines such as Walter, Rollomatic or similar * Apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification.
