Foreman - Water Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (Thames Valley) Rate: £320 - £370/day CIS We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor in the UK water sector to recruit an experienced Foreman / Site Supervisor to support a couple of ECI projects across the Thames Valley region. This role sits within pre-construction and enabling works, supporting a mix of planned schemes and reactive projects. Works will typically include early-stage surveys, ecological call-offs, and site enabling activities ahead of main construction. Key Responsibilities * Supervise site activities across multiple water and civils schemes * Coordinate early works including surveys, access, and enabling packages * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to required standards * Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders * Maintain strong HSEQ standards across all sites * Support smooth transition from pre-construction into delivery phase Requirements * Experience as a Foreman / Site Supervisor within water or civil engineering * Background working with Tier 1 contractors or major frameworks * Exposure to pre-construction / enabling works highly desirable * SSSTS / SMSTS (essential) * CSCS Gold Card - Supervisor * Strong understanding of site coordination, planning, and safety * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive day rate (DOE) * Long-term pipeline of work across AMP framework * Opportunity to work across varied and technically interesting schemes
