We are now recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our supply bank and work across: Birley Spa Primary Academy Birley Primary Academy Charnock Hall Primary Academy Rainbow Forge Primary Academy These schools offer welcoming environments, supportive leadership teams, and opportunities to make a real impact across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. About the Role As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase. Responsibilities include: Delivering pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher Leading small‑group interventions and targeted support Providing 1:1 support where required Assisting with behaviour management and pupil engagement Supporting teachers with planning, assessment and classroom routines Helping maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment Requirements HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with proven cover experience Confidence delivering lessons independently Strong behaviour management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities A proactive, flexible and supportive approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential) What We Offer Flexible day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term opportunities Weekly pay every Friday Competitive rates of pay Exclusive access to roles within L.E.A.D Academy Trust Ongoing professional development and CPD Supportive recruitment team throughout your placements Interested?
