Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Bedford Borough Council to recruit two experienced Adult Social Workers for a temporary project-based role within Adult Social Care. This is a focused, outcome-driven opportunity supporting a council-wide project aimed at increasing independence and reducing reliance on community-based services. Key Details Role: Adult Social Worker (Adults - Project Role) Client: Bedford Borough Council Location: 4th Floor, Borough Hall, Bedford, MK42 9AP Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00) Pay Rate: £31.77 per hour Positions Available: 2 About the Role This role sits within a targeted review project, working across Adult Social Care and Newton, with a clear focus on enablement and strength-based practice. The successful candidates will: Complete targeted reviews to assess need and risk Critically analyse current care and support arrangements Apply strength-based and enablement approaches to promote independence Work collaboratively with partners, technology-enabled solutions and community resources Support sustainable, long-term outcomes for adults within the communityThis position is ideal for a Social Worker who enjoys review work, analytical practice, and project-focused delivery rather than long-term case holding.
