Site Supply Chain Manager

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Site Manager to lead a manufacturing operation through its next phase of growth and transformation.
This is not a traditional operational leadership role. Rather than managing production alone, you will be responsible for running the site as a business, balancing operational performance with commercial, financial, and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will bring the ability to drive change, challenge established ways of working, and create a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of site performance including operations, supply chain, inventory, logistics, quality, safety, and financial performance.
- Operate with a strong commercial mindset, understanding how site decisions impact overall business results.
- Drive transformational initiatives focused on culture, behaviours, performance, and organisational effectiveness.
- Build strong connections between manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, customer service, and operational resilience.
- Foster a high-performance culture whilst engaging teams throughout periods of change.
- Act as a true business leader, making decisions based on long-term value creation rather than short-term operational metrics.
- Partner closely with senior leadership to support broader business objectives and growth plans.
Ideal Background
We are interested in speaking with leaders who demonstrate:
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking and business ownership mentality.
- Broad operational experience across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, inventory, and business management.
- Proven success leading transformation programmes and cultural change.
- Strong financial acumen with an understanding of cost management, profitability, and business performance drivers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to inspire, influence, and lead teams through change.
- Experience operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, process, chemicals, consumer goods, packaging, or related sectors.
- Exposure to small or mid-sized organisations where leaders have broad accountability and visibility across the business.
- Candidates who have demonstrated entrepreneurial ventures, turnaround situations, business-building experience, or transformational leadership will be viewed particularly favourably.
