Dals is currently recruiting interpreters who speak Farsi, Turkish, Sylheti, Arabic, Somali and other community languages to support healthcare, legal, education, and public sector services across Greater London.
Use your language skills alongside English to help people access essential services while enjoying the flexibility of freelance work.
Whether you have interpreting experience or simply speak English and at least one other language fluently, we'd love to hear from you.
What Does "Freelance" Mean?
As a freelance interpreter, you are self-employed and in control of:
Your working hours
The assignments you accept
How far you travel
Your availability
What Does the Role Involve?
As a Face-to-Face Interpreter, you will:
Interpret conversations between English speakers and speakers of your language(s)
Support appointments in healthcare, education, legal, housing, and social care settings
Help people access essential services and information
Facilitate clear, accurate, and confidential communication
Manage your assignments and availability through our interpreter platform
