Real Estate Finance Solicitor

Opportunity

A leading national South East Law firm are seeking a Solicitor to join their Real Estate Finance team.

Role

The team advise a broad range of clients, including banks, financial institutions, alternative lenders, investors, and borrowers on all aspects of real estate finance and secured lending.

You will manage a varied and increasingly complex caseload of real estate finance matters, including development finance, bridging facilities, investment acquisitions, property refinancing, and secured lending transactions.

In this role you will draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor arrangements, and ancillary finance documents.

You will take responsibility for transaction management from instruction through to completion, coordinating with clients, lenders, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure an efficient and commercially focused service.

You will also support the development of client relationships and play an active role in business development initiatives, networking activities, and identify opportunities for growth within the team.

There will also be the opportunity to contribute to the mentoring and supervision of junior solicitors, trainees, and support staff, with the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the team grows.

Candidate

This role would suit you if you come from a Real Estate Finance background, or you have had some exposure to real estate finance work through a broader commercial property role.

Please apply if you have between 3-5 years PQE with some exposure to real estate finance. Candidates working in a broader real estate role will also be considered.
