Senior Estimator

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join a leading main contractor in Brentwood, specializing in Decent Homes and Retrofit projects up to £5 million in value. The Role: As a Senior Estimator, you will be a key part of the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for refurbishment projects. This role offers a mix of office-based work in Brentwood with some flexibility to work from home. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing cost estimates for Decent Homes and Retrofit projects * Managing the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission * Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations * Assessing risks and opportunities within each bid * Working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery What They’re Looking For: * Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment * Strong knowledge of Decent Homes, Planned Maintenance, and Retrofit projects * Ability to price projects up to £5 million * Excellent negotiation and communication skills * Proficiency in estimating software and Excel * A team player with a keen eye for detail What’s on Offer? * Salary upto £100,000 per annum * Car allowance * Excellent benefits package * Flexible working arrangements (office & home-based) * Career progression opportunities within a growing business This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor that values its people and delivers high-quality projects
