English Teacher Location: Cardiff Start Date: Immediate start to July 2026 with potential to become permanent for the right English Teacher. Contract: Part Time (Wednesday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:00pm) Pay: £172.98 to £200 per day (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Cardiff? We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Cardiff seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team with an immediate start until the end of the academic year (July 2026.) This is a full-time position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. The Role: Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential Contribute positively to the wider school community Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 Excellent behaviour management skills Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Two professional referencesThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and make a real impact on students' learning, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent position.
