People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
You will be joining a company who embrace leading-edge technology to deliver a hassle-free, sustainable waste management service. Their circular economy pioneers, reduces and recycles as much waste as possible, using what's left as a resource.

This position would be ideal for applicants looking for a role a LGV Class 2 Driver, Truck Driver or Category C Driver.
Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday: 4am - 2pm
Pay Rate:
£16.50 – £33.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
Safely operate and drive Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations
To deliver and collect skips from customers as directed
To complete pre and post safety checks on your vehicle in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines, reporting any defects promptly
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
Valid UK Category C Licence
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
Reliable, professional, and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Understanding of road safety and compliance
Must be reasonably physically fit as some handball required
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
Experience handling large or bulky goods
Good customer interaction and service skills
Training:
Full industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
