Operations Manager

The Company We are a dynamic, expanding specialist glass and glazing manufacturer supplying trade, commercial, and bespoke markets. With continued investment in technology, automation, and customer service, we are now seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and elevate all day‑to‑day functions across our production facility and office operations. The Role As the Operations Manager you will take ownership of the smooth running of the entire operation — from manufacturing workflow, liasing with the Production team to customer‑facing office functions. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments and understands the unique demands a production environment. Key Responsibilities * Production coordination — Oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency * Workflow management — Plan, schedule, and optimise production through the production manager to meet customer deadlines * Office operations — Liase with the processing, estimating, order management, and customer service teams. * Cross‑functional leadership — Ensure seamless communication between factory and office functions * Continuous improvement — Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance * Health & safety oversight — Maintain compliance and promote a safe working environment * Customer focus — As the Operations Manager you will support strong relationships through reliable delivery and responsive service About You You’re an organised, proactive operations leader with a manufacturing background and can demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts.
