ASD Nurse Assessor – Children’s Services – West Suffolk Client: Health Now Location: West Suffolk Contract Type: 0-Hour Contract on Health Now Bank Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – Clinic Hours Start Date: Immediate Start Available Health Now is currently seeking experienced ASD Nurse Assessors to support a high-volume autism assessment project in the West Suffolk region. Our client is aiming to complete 88 ASD assessments by the end of June and requires a dedicated team of clinicians to support delivery. We are looking for 4 Nurses per day to support clinic-based assessments on an ongoing basis. Essential Requirements * Registered Nurse (NMC Registered) * ADOS-2 trained (essential) * Previous experience conducting ASD assessments independently * Previous experience working within Children’s ASD Services * Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills * Experience working within neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic services * Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary setting Role Responsibilities * Conduct children’s ASD assessments in line with NICE guidelines * Complete ADOS-2 assessments and associated clinical documentation * Participate in diagnostic discussions where required * Maintain accurate and timely patient records * Deliver high-quality patient-centred care throughout the assessment process Additional Information * Children’s assessments only – no adult assessments involved * Monday to Friday * Standard clinic hours * High-volume assessment programme * Immediate interviews and onboarding available * Competitive day rates available If you are an experienced ASD Nurse Assessor with paediatric ASD assessment experience looking for your next contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
