Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Flexible People Ltd are urgently seeking a Counterbalance truck driver for a well known company based in East Kilbride. This is a full time ongoing position.

This is for our prestigious client that specializes in the distribution of wholesale cleaning products.
Duties will include:
General warehouse work
Loading and unloading vehicles with the use of the counterbalance or the reach
Managing and organizing stock with the use of a reach truck and counterbalance
Partaking in the rotation of stock
Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed.
The job is Monday to Friday, the hours of work are 10:00-19:00.
The pay rate is £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).

Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Must own suitable workwear: black or navy trousers, plain t-shirt, hi-vis vest, and safety boots
Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
Must speak, read, and write fluent English
National Insurance number is required
Previous experience on the counterbalance or reach

The reach or the counterbalance MUST be accredited and in date
The right candidates must be willing to work full time and understand that they will be relied upon. This is a permanent position.
