School Business Manager

Classroom Teachers Ltd is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join a primary school in Enfield on a temporary basis until the end of August. This is a key leadership role, providing vital operational and strategic support during an important period for the school.

Contract:Temporary (until end of August)

Start:Immediate or short notice preferred
Pay:£25£28per hour negotiable depending on experience (PAYE or umbrella options available)

Location: Enfield,London

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee school finance, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Manage HR processes, payroll coordination, and staff administration
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and safeguarding standards
• Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with strategic planning
• Oversee premises, contracts, and facilities management
• Manage administrative and support staff where required

Person Specification

• Strong financial background with proven school budgeting/finance experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and school management systems
• Experience working collaboratively within a school environment
• Passion for education and supporting childrens wellbeing
• Previous experience in a primary, secondary, or academy setting (desirable)
