Manufacturing Technician Crawley | £14.87 per hour | Temp to Perm | Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm Join a growing engineering business where quality matters. Talented People Solutions are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Technician to join their busy workshop in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with soldering experience and a keen interest in electronics to join a specialist business within the aviation sector. You'll receive ongoing training and development while working as part of a friendly, experienced team, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The Role As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be involved in the repair, assembly and testing of specialist aviation equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Repair and maintain aviation headsets, leads and adaptors, diagnosing electronic faults alongside senior technicians. * Assemble and test new aviation equipment, ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. * Carry out precision soldering on electronic components. * Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics. * Perform quality inspections and testing throughout the repair and build process. * Accurately complete repair records, testing documentation and production paperwork. * Support the day-to-day running of the workshop, maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and organised. * Follow health and safety procedures at all times. * Take part in ongoing training to develop technical knowledge and skills. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality results. You'll ideally have: * Previous experience within electronics manufacturing, assembly or repair. * Soldering experience (essential). * A basic understanding of electronic components and fault finding. * The ability to read or learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. * Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
