CNC Setter / Operator

️ CNC Setter/ Operator - Rotherham 💷 £17.61 - £18.64 per hour (DOE) 🕒 Rotating Shifts (Days/Afters/Nights or Mon-Thurs Days & Nights) Stafforce are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Setter to join a growing, well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Rotherham. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate Vertical Machining Centres Read and interpret engineering drawings Adjust work/tool offsets and carry out tooling changes Prove out programmes and set up new jobs Work with jigs and fixtures to machine parts to specification Complete route cards, documentation, and ensure correct labelling Maintain tool inventory and programme registers Monitor coolant levels and maintain machine cleanliness Ensure parts move through production correctly and efficiently Requirements: Experience in CNC machining, setting and operating (essential) Ability to read engineering drawings Strong focus on quality and accuracy Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machining processes Good teamwork and communication skills Benefits: 33 days holiday Company pension & life assurance Healthcare plan Free onsite parking Training & progression opportunities About Us We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
