About the role

Webb House is our registered care home in Newhaven. We provide care and support for 19 adults with learning disabilities. Many of them also have significant health issues and physical disabilities. We are looking for a full time waking nights support worker to join our friendly and established team to transform the lives of our residents by offering person centred support that ensures they reach their goals and aspirations. The people we support are very active and each have hobbies and interests, which you will partake in. A full UK manual driving licence is essential to drive our residents vehicles. Due to the requirements of the people we support we are currently only able to recruit female support workers for this role. Waking Nights: £13.65 per hour weekdays and £15.02 weekends. Full time (35.00 hours per week) Enhanced rate of pay for overtime (over 37.5 hours per week). Time and a half or double time for public holidays. 30 days holiday when you start (FTE). What does a Support Worker do? A waking nights support workers shift is varied and rewarding. Support everyone differently to their individual needs. Support and encourage with personal care, such as showers and baths.
