Vehicle Technician

We are seeking to recruit a Light Goods Vehicle Technician to join our Service Department team based at our head office premises in Askam-In-Furness.

Remarkably for our industry, this position does not involve working overtime and on call, however both these options are open to anyone should they wish subject to workload.

Our service department operate a fully equipped workshop undertaking service, repair, maintenance and MOT’s to a variety of cars, vans, light and heavy commercial vehicles.

We are proud of our operational excellence and are always seeking to improve our workshop facilities to meet the demand of the ever-evolving automotive industry, this includes provision of equipment and staff having the opportunity to attend training courses to extend their experience and capabilities.

*What do we need from you?*

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent motor vehicle qualification.
* Full valid driving license with Cat B or Cat B+E
* 1+ years’ experience and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles to a high standard.
* MOT tester (advantage but not essential)
* Cat C or Cat C+E licence (advantage but not essential)
* Ability to pass CRB Check and/or Local Police Vetting
* Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Flexible approach to work.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
