Sales Executive
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £29,500 – £35,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing company as a Sales Executive. This is a varied and dynamic role combining sales, customer support, estimating, and account management.
You’ll be responsible for managing the full sales process, from initial enquiry through to completion, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting business growth. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to order completion
* Prepare and issue quotations, tenders, and pricing accurately
* Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries professionally
* Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
* Identify new business opportunities and generate leads
* Support estimating and administrative functions within the sales team
* Maintain and develop customer accounts using CRM systems
* Deliver product information and support customer decision-making
* Work towards individual and team sales targets
* Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, and product development
* Provide feedback to support product improvements and business growth
About You
* Previous experience in a sales
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
* Commercially aware with good problem-solving abilities
* Organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using IT systems and CRM platforms
* Able to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
* A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to learn
* Experience within manufacturing or a technical environment is advantageous
