Manchester60,000-75,000 + PackageWe’re recruiting a Senior Mechanical Estimator for a growing specialist HVAC & Mechanical contractor delivering commercial air conditioning, ventilation and mechanical projects.This is a key pre-construction role, taking ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover to the project team.The RolePrepare detailed mechanical and HVAC estimatesReview drawings, specifications and tender documentsComplete take-offs and build accurate cost plansObtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotationsPrice labour, materials, plant and specialist packagesIdentify risks, exclusions and value-engineering opportunitiesProduce competitive tenders and commercial proposalsLiaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teamsSupport tender reviews and handover to delivery teamsMentor junior estimators where requiredThe CandidateStrong experience in mechanical / HVAC estimatingBackground with an HVAC, air conditioning or M&E contractorGood knowledge of:Air conditioningVRF / VRVVentilationMechanical building servicesConfident reading drawings and specificationsStrong commercial awarenessGood supplier and subcontractor knowledgeExcellent attention to detail and organisationAble to manage multiple tenders simultaneouslyPackage60,000-75,000 basicPensionCompany benefitsOngoing training and developmentStrong long-term progressionThe OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a growing contractor with a strong project pipeline and genuine scope to influence how work is priced and won.Long-term progression into Estimating Manager, Pre-Construction Manager or Commercial leadership.WR HVAC | M&E are the #1 recruitment partner for HVAC and M&E vacancies across the UK, Europe, and the USA.
