About the role
Electronics Engineer - Aberdeen
Don't Just Build It. Make It Last.
Deep underground, thousands of metres below the surface, electronic systems are pushed to their absolute limits, extreme heat, immense pressure, zero margin for error. This is where your work matters most.
Our client is a global leader in wireless downhole technology, trusted by the oil and gas industry to deliver precision data from environments most engineers never have to think about. Their systems don't just have to work, they have to keep working. That's where you come in.
They're looking for a Electronics Engineer to join their Aberdeen-based Electronics R&D team, someone who gets under the skin of a failure, understands exactly why it happened, and puts in place the engineering rigour to make sure it never happens again.
What's In It For You:
Our client genuinely invests in their people, promoting from within, supporting further education, and trusting their team to manage their own work-life balance. You'll join a close-knit, family-feel culture backed by a genuinely global operation.

Collaborating across engineering, production and quality to solve real-world reliability challenges
Building and maintaining the technical documentation that keeps risk visible and managed
What You'll Bring:
A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
A background in electronic design or test
Sharp analytical thinking and a genuine appetite for problem-solving
Clear communication skills as you'll be writing technical reports and influencing across teams
Experience with failure analysis, accelerated life testing, or high-temperature electronics

If you're ready to make electronics that go the distance, please apply with your most up-to-date CV for consideration.
