Family Solicitor | Associate Level (4+ Years’ PQE)

Glasgow | Hybrid Working

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join an established family law practice in Glasgow at associate level. The role is aimed at a Solicitor with solid grounding in family work who is ready to step into a key mid‑level position, offering both responsibility and the chance to play an important role in supporting the wider team.

You’ll sit between senior leadership and junior fee earners, helping to strengthen the department and contributing to the future development of the practice.

The role

Based in central Glasgow, you’ll manage a broad range of private family law matters with a high level of autonomy while also acting as a point of guidance for junior members of the team.

The role involves regular client contact and requires a pragmatic, empathetic approach when advising clients through sensitive and often challenging circumstances.

About you

This role would suit a Family Solicitor who:

• 
  
• Has a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in family law
• Has substantive, hands‑on family law experience
• Is confident running their own caseload
• Is comfortable operating as a mid‑level fee earner
• Enjoys supporting and developing junior colleagues
• Is organised, proactive and client‑focused
