Plant Engineer/Mechanic

Plant Mechanic – Heavy Plant & Recycling Equipment We have a highly respected Client who are looking for an experienced and highly capable Plant Mechanic to join their team in West London. This is not an entry-level position. They operate to exceptionally high standards and are looking for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship, is reliable/committed and has the ability to keep critical machinery operating safely and efficiently. The Role Duties will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, fabrication and welding across a varied fleet including: * Crushers * Screeners * Aggregate washing plant * Excavators from 1T to 50T * A30 dump trucks * Dozers * Loading shovels * Smaller plant and tools You must be able to work under your own initiative, troubleshoot faults efficiently, and maintain equipment to a very high standard. What We’re Looking For * Strong heavy plant mechanical experience * Welding and fabrication ability essential * Experience with quarry, recycling or aggregate equipment highly desirable * Self-motivated and dependable * Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively * High attention to detail and safety standards Hours * Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm * Saturday: 7:00am – 2:00pm This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and well-established operator with a strong reputation in the industry.
