M&E Design Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to join a leading M&E contractor based in Warrington. Our client delivers mechanical and electrical building services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare and education projects, and is looking for an experienced Design Manager with a strong mechanical background to lead their design function. The Role * Managing the design process across M&E projects from concept through to installation * Leading and coordinating the design team, including in-house engineers and external consultants * Overseeing mechanical design output, ensuring technical accuracy and buildability * Liaising with clients, contractors and the wider project team * Managing design programmes, ensuring information is issued on time * Ensuring designs meet current regulations, specifications and client requirements * Supporting value engineering and coordination across mechanical and electrical packages Requirements * Previous experience as a Design Manager within M&E/building services * Strong mechanical engineering background essential * Proficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, CAD-Duct or similar) * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, current regulations and design coordination * Relevant qualification (HNC/HND or degree in Building Services or similar) * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills What's on Offer * Permanent position * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * Based in Warrington * Join an established M&E contractor with a strong project pipeline * Genuine opportunity for career progression If you're an experienced Design Manager with a strong mechanical background, apply today with your CV or get in touch for further details
