Engineering Site Supervisor / Project Lead - Rotating Equipment Permanent | Full-Time An established engineering services provider supporting customers across the manufacturing and industrial sectors is seeking an experienced Engineering Site Supervisor / Project Lead to join its operations team. This role combines site-based supervision, project coordination and hands-on engineering support, working across pump and rotating equipment projects both on client sites and within the workshop. The Role You will take responsibility for organising, supervising and delivering site-based engineering work, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to the expected quality standards. Acting as the first point of contact for site teams, you'll support both operational delivery and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Operational Conduct site surveys in preparation for upcoming projects Compile risk assessments and method statements for current and future work Order and chase materials, equipment and transport for site activities Carry out vibration analysis and pump testing Assist with site jobs and breakdown work as required Support workshop activities during quieter project periods Develop and follow test and inspection procedures Ensure delivery of work to agreed quality standards and timescales Complete strip, inspection and reporting documentation Support site visit reporting alongside the project engineer Undertake routine service work on client sites where appropriate Liaise directly with clients to deliver a high level of customer service Obtain and process job completion notes Collect and process team hours and mileage Promote a professional and positive company image at all times Provide first-line support to site teams for queries, issues and decision-making Organise and supervise day-to-day site activities Ensure work is delivered within internal systems and procedures Adhere to all client site rules and policies when working on-siteHealth & Safety Ensure all company health & safety policies and procedures are followed Promote and lead a culture of safe working as standardKey Skills & Qualifications Completed engineering apprenticeship Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent engineering qualification Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Experience supervising or coordinating site-based engineering work Excellent communication and customer-facing abilityBenefits Holiday purchase scheme Wellbeing support Learning & development opportunities Enhanced family benefits Retirement support Cycle to work scheme
