Civil Engineer

We are looking for experienced Civil Engineers (both contract & permanent) and a Lead Civil Engineer (permanent) to support a long‑term infrastructure project in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Deliver civil and structural design across RIBA stages (primarily 0–2)
• Support refurbishment, infrastructure upgrades and new-build developments
• Carry out site investigations, condition surveys and reporting
• Work on modifications to existing assets, including listed structures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and statutory authorities
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and operational standards

(Lead Civil Engineer Responsibilities):

• Provide technical oversight and leadership across multiple projects
• Lead engineering input across RIBA stages (0–5 preferred)
• Manage stakeholder engagement and design coordination
• Support project delivery strategy and ensure engineering quality and compliance

Requirements

• Background in civil or structural engineering
• Experience xwzovoh within regulated industries (e.g. nuclear, defence, marine, infrastructure, oil & gas)
• Strong understanding of RIBA project stages
• Experience with Revit and/or BIM Level 2 project delivery

(Additional for Lead role):

• Proven experience leading engineering delivery and design teams
• Strong stakeholder management and technical oversight capability
