About the role
SEN Teacher
An inclusive and forward-thinking school in Brent is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inclusive lessons to pupils with a range of needs, including complex ASD, through 1:1, small group, and whole-class teaching. You will work closely with colleagues across the school and wider Trust, contributing to a supportive, therapeutic learning environment and promoting high standards for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching
Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of SEN needs
Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school cultureRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
Experience working with pupils with SEND
Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice
Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities
