The Recruitment Crowd is expanding and we are recruiting Residential Support Worker to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting a wide range of clients around the Northeast (various locations) in healthcare settings. About the Role We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and reliable Residential Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will support residents to live safe, fulfilling and independent lives while providing high-quality, person-centred care and support. You will build positive relationships with residents, encourage independence, and help them achieve their personal goals in a safe and supportive residential environment. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred care and emotional support to residents. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, medication support and household tasks where required. Encourage residents to develop independence and make their own choices. Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents, families and professionals. Follow individual care and support plans and contribute to reviews. Promote safeguarding and report any concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation. Support residents with challenging or distressed behaviour using positive and appropriate approaches. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. About You Caring, patient and empathetic. Reliable, responsible and professional. A confident communicator and good team player. Respectful of individual choices, dignity and personal boundaries. Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations. Committed to promoting equality, inclusion and independence. Previous experience in residential care, social care or support work is essential. Qualifications Healthcare or Care qualification, such as Care Certificate, Level 2/3 Health and Social Care, or equivalent, is desirable.
