CNC Operator (Woodworking) Nottingham £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a busy and growing woodworking manufacturer based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine operator looking for a stable, long-term position within a well-established company. The Role As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality wooden products to customer specifications. You will work as part of a skilled production team, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Operating CNC woodworking machines safely and efficiently. Loading materials and setting up machines for production runs. Monitoring machine performance and making minor adjustments where required. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications. Conducting quality checks on finished components. Maintaining a clean and organised work area. Following health and safety procedures at all times.Requirements Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a woodworking or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.Benefits Competitive pay rate of £14.00 per hour. Regular daytime hours with an early finish compared to many shift patterns.
